Terms of Service — EduPlatform LMS

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EduPlatform LMS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including students, teachers, and administrators.

2. Description of Service

EduPlatform LMS is a cloud-based learning management system that provides educational institutions with tools for attendance tracking, course material management, assignment distribution, quiz administration, payment management, and communication between students, teachers, and administrators.

3. User Accounts

Accounts are created and managed by your institution's administrator.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You must notify your administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may not share your account credentials with others.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
Upload content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property rights.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or other users' accounts.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform.
Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without permission.

5. Content Ownership

Course materials, assignments, and other content uploaded to the platform remain the intellectual property of the uploading institution or individual. By uploading content, you grant EduPlatform LMS a limited license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6. Google Drive Integration

The optional Google Drive integration allows teachers to upload course materials to their own Google Drive accounts. By using this feature, you also agree to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You may revoke Drive access at any time through your Google Account settings.

7. Payments

Payment records managed through the platform are for institutional fee tracking purposes. EduPlatform LMS does not process or store credit/debit card information. Any disputes regarding fees or payments must be resolved directly with your institution.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time. We will endeavor to provide advance notice of planned downtime where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduPlatform LMS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or service interruption.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for any user or institution that violates these Terms of Service. Institutions may also terminate their account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify institutions of material changes via email.
